Pack snacks, as the kitchen area is communal and limited for cooking.

The place was clean, and I loved having a small balcony with a sea view-it was perfect for people-watching. The room was a bit small, but I was prepared for that. The staff was super helpful, providing kitchenware and a kettle. Just a heads up, no air conditioning in November! It was a good experience, especially given the location right near the main square.

Everything was simply really good. Whole place was fairly clean with fantastic views; unbeatable location on top of a hill. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the square of 9th April and tourist points. I liked nearby La Gelateria, they make nice coffee. Very amiable and caring staff was available all the time. The breakfast was great with a huge variety of food.

Great breakfast with scrambled egg and fresh fruits, for instance, flexible personnel.

The room I stayed in had beautiful mosaic floors and offered a fine view of the sea from the balcony.
The doors to the room didn't close properly, and I could hear noise from outside and the staff early in the morning.

How charming it was to lug my bags up 70 steps for completely average accommodations. The air conditioning was barely adequate, and considering the daily heat, I expected more. For the price, surely a complimentary gesture would have been acceptable. Oh, I almost gave this place a good review, but alas, the disappointment was just too great.

Beautiful sea view from the small balcony.
Reaching Villa Mabel can be quite a workout. I had to lug my bags up numerous steps, exhausting after traveling. The water pressure in the bathroom fluctuated. The wifi was inconsistent, made staying connected to family back home a challenge.

The charming Italian atmosphere of Villa Mabel, combined with its cleanliness and attentive staff, made for a pleasant stay. Enjoying a lovely view of the sea from my small balcony was good, though the building’s age showed through occasional restroom hiccups and noisy doors.

The room had beautiful mosaic floors and a fine view of the ocean from the balcony, perfect for kicking back with a drink. The communal terrace was a great spot to take in the sights of the square.
Reaching the hotel can be quite a trek, with 70 steps to navigate just to get to the entrance, which might be a headache if you're carrying bags. The room's door didn't close properly and I could hear all the night sounds from the square and early morning commotion, including furniture being moved. Plus, there was no air conditioning.

Charming stay with amazing views
I recently spent two nights in a beautifully decorated room with a lovely communal terrace that offered a fine view over the main piazza. The cool marble floors and the high ceiling kept the room comfortable during the warm days. I loved having a kettle and fridge in the room for my convenience, and it was just a few steps from the historic center of Taormina. It would have been nice to have breakfast options available on-site.
